Leah Maas, BA
Leah received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Concordia University of Wisconsin. She has experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician at an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy center for children with autism, fostering a positive, encouraging environment that supports the development of socially significant behaviors and reduces behavioral challenges. She is currently a graduate student at Colorado Christian University pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. Additionally, she is an intern at the counseling center at Concordia University of Wisconsin, where she coordinates resources for students seeking counseling and supports students through crisis management.
She believes in creating a counseling space that is open, genuine, nonjudgmental, and compassionate. She values meeting individuals where they are and places strong importance on authentic connection in the counseling process. She has a growing interest in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy. She enjoys supporting clients as they explore their thoughts, emotions, and strengths at their own pace.
In her personal time, Leah enjoys being active outdoors through hiking and kayaking, reading a good book, baking sourdough and sweets, cooking new recipes, and spending meaningful time with family and friends.
